2 Weeks To 35

Last night I spent five and a half hours in the parking lot of Barnes & Noble in San Jose with Al, hoping to see and get a signature from President Bill Clinton,
but to no avail. However, Lloyd LaQuesta (Channel 2 News South Bay
Bureau Chief) was less than 10 ft from us at one point. And I saw the
woman with the most perfect ass in the world waiting in line a couple
of people in front of us... with her husband.

Tonight I went to the A's game with my brother and my father. After acting weird and distant the whole way to the Oakland (Network
Associates) Coliseum, my Dad told my brother and me that he had lost his brand-new Senior Vice President of Alternate Fuel Vehicle Development job at Pacific Gas & Electric, where he is eligible for retirement with a full pension in only four more years. I just held him in my arms as he cried and told him I love him, and that obviously this news had very little to do with him; it's just the same old stinking office politics.

He replied dejectedly, "It doesn't matter why it's happening. It just sucks."

At least the A's won.

Tomorrow night I go to the Red Devil Lounge (of all places) to see,
hear and experience KRS-ONE the Teacher as he raps his way back into my heart and mind. Less than 500 other people can say that.

And in just over two weeks, I turn 35 years old.

The day after that, I'm walking 10km through Golden Gate Park with my Dad, twenty-five of my coworkers and a bunch of their friends.

It just never stops, does it? It just keeps going.
