They Don't Bother Me, No (Holy Rosary at Night)

Get all crunched down
knees crackling
wiggle your widgets
dig dangling digits
encased in knee-deep Fun-Tak

a ball crawl of epic contortions

turns your tv down
to the ground, no one around
to touch your things
move them with greasy imprints
feathers flutter, rankle ruffled

turn up the lowdown
the plastic too scratched to shine
hose it off
walk it off
take it off

make this whole sphere
your endless buffet
of steam table contacts

your hands grow
smaller against the grain
of pretty much everything

corduroy and pique
in navy and bleached white

stiff denim patches
can't match the racing shaking thudding
the soon-to-come drubbing
sucked up into manicured shrubbing
this game has no ending
